Description

Made from a selection of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, a red variety highly valued by consumers all over the world. Its late budding and a moderate production are the main features of its production.  This variety offers a high resistance to insects and mites. Its grape has a thick skin and perfectly adapts to different types of weather conditions and soils. In our limestone soils and arid climate, its adaptation surprisingly generates wines with intense colour and aromas. These wines are featured, at the beginning of its life, by astringency and herbaceous sensations. However, they get soften as the months go by, maintaining their identity.

TASTING NOTES:

Dark red in colour, covered with bluish and violet tones.  In nose, this wine is open and frank wine, with red fruits, green peppers and dark plums standing out. On the palate, it is an intense wine, mixing the astringency sensations and power of a very lively wine with velvety, softer and persistent flavours of ripe fruit. Once bottled, the wine evolves slowly and gradually throughout its life, allowing vintages of 2-3 years to develop their maximum expressiveness.
It must be drunk at temperatures around 20ºC. It is the perfect accompaniment for all types of red meats, powerful stews and game meats.
